The Avon Fire Department has seen an average 8% increase in emergency calls each year, over the last four years. In 2024 our total number of calls was 4412. Of those, 81% were for EMS, the paramedic staffed ambulance. A breakdown of calls, 2024 vs 2023, and the 3 shifts that are handling these calls are graphed below:
