The Great Avon Bike Parade

10:00 a.m. 

It’s the City’s annual Fourth of July Bike Parade! Decorate your bike, scooter, wagon, tricycle, etc. and come celebrate America!  The parade begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the Avon Pool.  The short and safe one-mile parade features both a police and fire escort.  All participants will receive one complimentary weekday admission to the Avon Pool (Good July 4 through end-of-season).

2026 SWIM MEETS AT AVON AQUATIC FACILITY

The Avon Aquatic Facility is an Olympic-Size pool that will host competitions sponsored by the Avon Eagle Summer Recreation Team, Lakeshore Swim Club (U.S Swimming) and Ohio Masters.

The Competition Pool venue will be reserved during these competitions however the Activity Pool will remain open to the public.  Additionally, the Pool Pavilion, lap lanes, diving boards and water basketball features will be closed during all competitions.

All HOME meets begin at 5:30 p.m., the 50m Pool is reserved from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

• JULY 7 & JULY 14 

The swim club consists of Avon children with competitions divided into age groups 6 & under through high school age.  The club practices weekday mornings 8:30am – 10:15am

             JULY 24 & 25          ** 50 METER POOL WILL CLOSE AT 3:00PM ON JULY 24 AND RE-OPEN BY 1:00PM ON JULY 25 **

 Ohio Masters Swim Meet
August 29, 2026

Sponsored by Ohio Masters, this is an age group swim meet for adults.  This long course meet will be held Saturday morning, August 29 (rain date is 8/30).  The Competition Pool will re-open to the public after the meet concludes.  The 50m pool will open at 1:15pm on this day.  (The Activity Pool will remain open to the public during this event.)

For meet entry information please visit the Ohio Masters website. This club supports the adult swim workout/training program that is held at Avon Aquatic Facility on Monday evenings.
