The Avon Senior Center provides programs and activities for anyone 55 and over. The center provides a multitude of services, including fitness classes, lunch & learns, movies/games, health screenings, trips, social events and transportation to serve the approximately 5,000 senior adults in Avon and surrounding communities.

Newsletter Subscription Information
The Senior Buzz is published bi-monthly. If you would like a copy mailed to your home there is an annual subscription fee of $15/household. There is no form to fill out for newsletter subscriptions. Just stop in or mail a check for $15, payable to City of Avon and write newsletter on the memo line. Credit Card payments are also accepted. Once you have a subscription the mailing label on your newsletter will show your expiration date.

Inclement Weather & Cancellations
We do not follow the Avon Local Schools closures and will remain open for activities and transportation unless the City feels the road conditions are deemed unsafe. If you feel that the road conditions are dangerous or the temperature is too cold/hot, please stay home. Please call our front desk for any questions regarding activity status 440-934-2417. Transportation will only run if road conditions are deemed safe, 440-934-7433.
